Grecan Heating and Electrical Branding

Grecan Heating and Electrical Branding

August 31, 2017 by Andrew Ley

The Problem

A local firm specialising in the installation and maintenance of heating systems, James from Grecian Heating and Electrical approached me when he was looking for a new brand to accompany the expansion of his business. The company had been operating as Grecian Gas Services for a number of years, but James had since qualified to work on electrical heating systems as well, and was also looking to move into the green and renewable energy market.

The Solution

After chatting with James it became clear to me that he prided himself on his quality of workmanship and customer service. He didn’t just fix people’s heating; he provided them with warmth – both literally, and emotionally. The new branding uses a warm orange colour, along with a simple bold type logo, that feels trustworthy and friendly. The use of a damask pattern softens the branding, as well as echoing traditional soft furnishings and wallpapers used in homes. These elements are carried across a range of items Grecian’s customers will interact with, from the website to the invoices, creating a sense of consistency and familiarity.
